As part of our working relationship with Virgin Radio creating back stage VIP hospitality areas at major festivals, we were asked to come up with a mobile interview area where bands could be interviewed and filmed – it had to look good, promote the brand and of course be transportable and weather proof. 

Initially a donor VW camper van had to be completely stripped out and a side removed to maximise available space. A bespoke seating area was then created which would then form the basis of the interview area. A canopy construction then completed the structure to allow cameras protection during filming. To finish, the remodelled VW camper van was then fully branded with its corporate identity  – initially for Virgin radio and then as Absolute Radio following a company buyout.
