The flagship Shepherds Bush hotel is the latest addition to the Dorsett Hospitality International portfolio and the company’s first UK property.

In homage to the company’s Chinese roots, the celebration was given an east-meets-west theme, with guests greeted by a London Beefeater and a Chinese terracotta warrior before being entertained by aerialists serving guests champagne, and a Malaysian Festival Drummers performance.

London Mayor Boris Johnson sent a surprise video welcoming Dorsett Hotels to the capital, declaring: “Dorsett Shepherds Bush: I en-Dorsett”.
