We were commissioned to create a truly memorable day for the marriage of two highly successful business people in London. The brief specifically asked us to make the bride ‘feel like a classic Hollywood actress.’

The wedding was to be held in an amazing art deco ‘new romantic period’ ballroom in a prominent Park Lane Hotel. The challenge was to rebuild the ballroom into a wedding chapel that perfectly matched the period and then transform the same room into a dining and entertainment experience for over 450 guests within 90 minutes.

From rebuilding one end of the ballroom and turning it into an art deco wedding chapel, surprising the couple with a unique song and dance production of Abba’s Dancing Queen (the bride’s favourite song) to ensuring it was snowing outside as they left – in the original Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car – the day was a huge success for bride, groom, family and friends alike.
